Welcome to your weekend wrap up!

Busy weekend in the middle of the state with the band. On Saturday we swung by Jackson, MI at the ART634 building for a chat with Victor McDermot who gave us a shout out along with our fellow blogging red footware on his show, Soundwave on JTV.  Look for air dates to be posted soon!  Kels and the band played a few tunes for the camera before the interview too!

Last night we venutred out to Mac’s Bar in Lansing, MI to open for Stefanie Haapala and Matt White!  Great show, foot stomping good time! The band had a great time with some old friends, and met some wonderful new friends too!

It’s just the gals and their boots this weekend!  Sarah and Kelsey join the girls retreat for Frontline Church on Friday night!  And on Saturday, We’re taking over Baker Book House on East Paris with some live free music starting at 6pm!

Happy Halloween!  Be safe out there!

This has been your weekend wrap up.

Greetings, world.  It’s time for Flat Talk with The Flats.  We’re flat shoes, and we talk…

New Haven Baptist Church greeted Kels and The Wrap Boots last Wednesday with smiles and open hearts.  We hear it was quite a refreshing show for all involved!  We got to spend the weekend doing what we love, entertaining for house shows!  Friday night we scurried over to Opensource Studio, (which is really a store front turned into an apartment turned into a venue from time to time… so it’s a house show) for the Artprize Wrap Up, and chased that with the Goodbye Summer Belknapp House Concert!  Good music.Good people.  Good time.

And after 8 shows in two weeks, these little piggies need to go home. Time for a week off, and then back at it October 19th for the Journey Ministries Women’s Retreat at Covenant Hills Camp!

This has been Flat Talk.

*a pic from our set at St. Cecilia Music Center for Artprize last Saturday- this was Kenneth’s FIRST GIG with us!  it was so much fun!

Greetings!

This is your weekend wrap up with The Wrap Boots!

Artprize is in full swing and everywhere these little boots walk on the streets of downtown Grand Rapids, there is something to look at, hear, and EXPERIENCE!  Saturday was a full day of music, art, and fun! We joined Kels and the band on the ourdoor stage at St. Cecilia at 2:30pm on 9/21.  You were a lovable and responsive crowd that made us blush with appreciation… that’s not really possible, but all the same… we enjoyed you!

Tomorrow we hit the streets

From 12:30-1pm, Kels, Sarah, and possibly Kenneth will be busking at Rosa Park Circle.  Make sure to stop by and say “Hi” on your lunch break! (69 degrees + sunny)

Then from 5-7pm, Kels will be doing the solo thang (with us of course) at Rosa Park Circle for the Art Van Concert Series on Wood TV 8Singer-songwriter-in-the-round style!

And finally from 7:30-8pm, the whole band will join us once more at St. Cecilia in the President’s Room for another busking slot!  Fun Fun Fun!

But that’s not all the fun we’re having this week!  That’s just Tuesday!

Saturday, the 28th we’ll join Kels and Sarah for Handbags of Hope in Goodrich from 11am-2pm.  (75 degrees + mostly sunny)

And Sunday, the 29th we’re back at the Artprize thang at Women’s City Club from 5-6pm.  For those looking for a sit down concert, this is your event! Plus-it’s indoors- which is good because it’s supposed to rain on Sunday!

That’s it folks!  We’ll talk at you next week!

This has been your weekend wrap up.
