Well kids, recording is done done done! We got through the really draining part, now we wait to approve final mixes and mastering magic! We are hoping to release by the end of the summer, but these things have a way of taking their time so keep checking back with us. Now, I’m off for a road trip, but if you’re really need to hear some Kelsey Rottiers & the Rising Tide, just leave our home page up and listen to our demos. Or… you can come to our show on July 23rd at the Lansing City Market….

We also had Patrick James Bradway come to the studio and take some footage of our recording process. Enjoy.

A little treat from our session yesterday. We’ve been tracking the extra instruments the past few days. Today it’s Cello and Trumpet. We are so excited for everyone to hear the fruit of our labor, so keep checking back for more updates.
yours,
Kelsey

So there’s your proof! Recording is happening… and it’s gonna be sweet!

Going back to the studio tomorrow! Cannot wait! This weekend we’re adding violin, cello, and trumpet… so excited.

Summer has been going so well! We’ve had quite a few shows, recording and a new website! My only concern is heat stroke caused by bright red boots that aren’t made for winter or summer. They’re really more for Spring, or an overcast, windy day in the Summer that’s not too hot and not too cold. Please browse the new place, This shall be our homestead, we hope you feel comfortable and welcomed. Let us know what you think!
love,
KR & the RT
